When my son was born twenty-four...
When my son was born twenty-four years ago, I had only one thought: "God is his Father. He has no human parentage." All through his childhood I was always conscious of this truth about him, so that when the boy was fourteen, and my husband passed on, although it took me a long time to overcome the sense of separation and loss, I saw quite clearly from the beginning that the child had not lost his Father.
I was left with an income that seemed quite inadequate to meet the demands that were going to be made upon it, but in the intervening years every need has been met for his education, until today he has a degree and a very good job. We are told (Isa. 55:1), "Come ye, buy, and eat; ... without money and without price," and I am grateful to have seen in a small degree that we do not need money to buy the things the Father is giving us.
I have seen many quick healings of illness for both my children and told in the Sentinel many years ago of my son's healing in forty-eight hours of infantile paralysis.
