I wish to express my gratitude for the many blessings which have come to me as the result of my study of Christian Science.

More than thirty-five years ago I turned to this teaching, which reveals God's allness, as well as the nothingness of evil. I was at that time suffering from a severe attack of sciatica, for which the physicians assured me there was no help unless I underwent a severe operation. Later the surgeon refused to perform this, stating that it would result in the loss of the use of my knee and I would have a stiff leg for the rest of my life.

Soon after this I visited a Christian Science Reading Room and purchased the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. At the same time I promised God that I would read it with an open mind. While reading it through the first time, I became deeply interested, and the second time I received a complete and perfect healing. Several years later I applied for a life insurance policy and received it without any questions, although the examination was very thorough because of my age.
