REFLEX IMAGE

I would reflect, dear God, the outward form
That inward grace alone makes manliest,
That certainty of Science deep and warm
With love expressed.

If in my consciousness I feel no chafe
Of bitterness or hate, no angry pride.
No hurt of mortal self, then I am safe
And one with Thee abide.

My world will mirror back Thy love to me,
Through every man and child, in leaf and flower;
When Thy love fills my thought impartially,
Hate has no power.

In Spirit's realm there are no sick, no blind.
Sin cannot mar the beauty of Love's throne.
In Love-reflected love no fetters bind
Soul claims its own!
