Jesus was probing deeply into the consciousness of his disciples when he said . . .: "If ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others?"

There is a plus quality in Christian living that forever sets Christians out as different from the world. They love something that the world does not love. They believe something that the world does not believe. They live for something that the world is not willing to live for. Apparently a lot of church members do not believe this. They act as though the proper function of a Christian was to fade into the crowd — to be undistinguished by any kind of living. . . .
