Having had both a mother and a grandmother who were Christian Scientists, and having enjoyed the privilege of attending a Christian Science Sunday School, I know that long ere this I should have expressed in writing my deep gratitude for the many blessings which I have received.

I accepted all these good things without doing my share of the metaphysical work in our home, so now I am doubly grateful to have a part in the work in a branch church and to attend my association meeting each year. Also I have enjoyed the uplifting experience of attendance at an Annual Meeting of The Mother Church.

We had many healings in our home through the application of Christian Science. A severe case of arthritis, burns, catarrh, corns, so-called children's diseases, colds, earache, eczema, influenza, grippe, malaria, pleurisy, rheumatism, and toothache are some of the difficulties healed. A double fracture of the elbow was set by a surgeon at my father's request, but the healing which came through Christian Science was a miracle according to the physician. Needless fear and worry have been banished; also unlovely traits of character and false pride are being eliminated.
