St. Helena, California (First Church).

First Church of Christ, Scientist, St. Helena, held dedication services on Sunday, September 25, 1949, for their recently built edifice. Two services were held, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

The history of Christian Science in St. Helena dates back to 1913, when a few students of Christian Science met on Sunday mornings in private homes to read the Lesson-Sermon from the Bible and "Sci ence and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.
