I should like to express my gratitude for Christian Science. I am deeply grateful to Mrs. Eddy, for, through the study of Science and Health and the understanding that it brought me, I have had many wonderful blessings. Jesus' words (John 8:32), "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free," have been a great source of comfort and help to me in trying times.

Over three years ago, after the birth of our baby girl, I suffered a complete physical and mental breakdown and was not expected to live. Work was taken up in Christian Science, and almost immediately improvement was noted, although my complete healing did not come until after many months of consecrated work by a practitioner and many months of my own study.

During this period we were informed by several doctors that our baby was a blue baby and had water on the brain and could not live longer than a year. Work was taken up in Science, and now she is a completely normal child, both mentally and physically.
