I am very happy to give thanks for all the help and protection I have received in Christian Science throughout my life, including thirteen years' instruction in the Christian Science Sunday School. During the many years that I have been gradually learning to put Science into practice for myself, after having the advantage of this religion of Love in my home surroundings, I have been healed of many things. The healing for which I am most grateful, however, is that of extreme nervousness, fear, and mental backwardness. The gradual outgrowing of these difficulties seemed slow, and sometimes I was discouraged; but now I rejoice in my freedom and happiness, knowing that in God I have all the intelligence I need and that in Him only is spiritual power.

Since my healing I have been enabled to travel from the other end of the world in safety and harmony and have since found useful and happy employment in my home country, for which I am deeply grateful.

To Mrs. Eddy for giving to the world the revelation of the truth as taught by Jesus, I am most grateful. I am often helped by this statement of Mrs. Eddy's in Science and Health (p. 254): "Pilgrim on earth, thy home is heaven; stranger, thou art the guest of God."—(Miss) Catherine Winifred Kendall, Haslemere, Surrey, England.
