I should like to express my gratitude...
I should like to express my gratitude for a healing of heart disease from which I suffered for many years and which kept me in bed for months at a time. I had the services of the best specialist in New York, but to no avail. After a long rest period the ailment would be temporarily relieved, but I was not healed.
One day when I was feeling especially low, weak, and full of self-pity, and I was unable to walk, I asked a friend with whom I resided, who was not a Christian Scientist, to call a practitioner for me. The practitioner came at once and was very kind and understanding. She talked to me about God, of His goodness and His great love for man. I felt very much uplifted, and I realized that I was instantaneously healed. I was free from the ailment which had kept me in bondage for years. When my friend saw me, she was amazed that I was healed so quickly. This experience took place on Saturday night, and I attended the Sunday services at a Christian Science church the next morning.
Through this practitioner's wonderful work relatives overseas were protected when the fighting was in our native city, and not only they, but their properties also, were protected. A cousin was set free from a concentration camp through the work of the practitioner, and lost articles were found.
