For far too many years I have been in the position of the nine lepers who were healed, but who did not give thanks. I am grateful to be proving that Christian Science heals.

I had withdrawn from an orthodox church because I could not accept the theology of sacrament. What peace and joy I gained from reading the chapter in the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, entitled "Atonement and Eucharist" and in attending services in the Christian Science church!

At the time I began attending Christian Science church services, I had been told that I must lead an inactive life, for I had twice had tuberculosis. However, within a year after I began the study of this Science, I was completely free from all the effects of this disease, and my weight was normal for the first time in twenty years.
