For a month or more I had been...
For a month or more I had been seeking employment. I worked on the thought of supply in its spiritual sense, as we are taught in Science; however, I was still very much discouraged.
At a Christian Science lecture one evening I opened my thought to the message being given and soon realized it was just what I needed, and I drank deeply of every word. The thought that was most helpful to me was a passage quoted from John (6:37): "All that the Father giveth me shall come to me." And I suddenly knew that the loving Father had already given me every needful thing.
I was so free from doubt and fear that I had a very restful night. The next morning, very early, I rented both of my apartments, and the next evening I was called on a nursing case, one which enabled me to do much to help others. I was also healed of a badly infected foot during a lecture. I walked out of the auditorium perfectly free. Many times Christian Science has helped me to make important decisions. I am most grateful for Christian Science.—(Mrs.) Oma B. Allen, Duncan, Oklahoma.
