From a new member comes a helpful letter from which the following excerpt is taken: "Words can never fully describe the great happiness that I hold, knowing that I am now a member of The Mother Church. Already it is proving to be a magnificent opportunity and a joyous necessity for my growth in Science. To me membership is a high standard to live up to, but certainly a most joyous one, and it really gives me great happiness."

Every earnest student of Christian Science learns that for normal, steady progress, church membership is indeed "a magnificent opportunity and a joyous necessity."

Applicants are admitted to membership twice each year by The Christian Science Board of Directors under the provisions of Article XIII, Section 2, of the Manual of The Mother Church by Mary Baker Eddy. To be considered for the next admission of members, applications, with their accompanying questionnaires, must reach the Clerk not later than Tuesday, May 1, 1951. The admission date is June 1, 1951.
