My first healing in Christian Science...

My first healing in Christian Science came through reading the Sentinel. At this time I was suffering from blood poisoning of the foot, and medical help had failed to heal the condition. An acquaintance asked me to look into this religion, saying she knew it would heal me, and she gave me a Sentinel. The first article I read was entitled "God." I read it over many times, and my thought was so illumed by the understanding it brought of what God is that I was instantly healed. I have had many other healings, among which are those of tonsillitis, liver trouble, and broken bones. My desire is to so live this Science that others will be drawn to it and attain the peace which belongs to all men. Membership in The Mother Church and a branch church and class instruction have been a privilege and blessing. For all the teachings of Christian Science given us by our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, I am indeed grateful.—(Mrs.) Arvella May Walters, San Diego, California.
