With deep sincerity I wish to express my gratitude for the many blessings and healings which I have received through the study of Christian Science.

From early childhood I had been a sufferer from stomach disorders, with their complications, often being in bed for two and three weeks at a time. After taking various kinds of patent medicines as well as home remedies for many years, with only temporary relief, I was then treated by physicians, but with little benefit resulting. Consequently I gave up medicine and doctors shortly after my second child was born and turned instead toward spiritual help, as I had always had the desire to have a better understanding of God.

After reading a few pages in the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I realized it was what I needed and had been seeking. On the third day of reading, I suddenly realized that I was healed. Just when the healing took place I could not say. The spiritual uplift that followed the healing was beyond words to describe. Only those who have had a similar experience can understand. I immediately put on weight. According to medical theory I had been underweight for years. My friends and immediate family mentioned how well and happy I looked.
