Preface to Relocation

[The paragraphs following are from a report prepared by the chairman of a Reading Room committee.]

Work is going forward rapidly on the new ground-floor location for the Christian Science Reading Room jointly maintained by the two churches in this city. It is going to be very lovely. Everyone appears satisfied with the location—which is very gratifying.

When the Ground-Floor Reading Room Committee was appointed by both churches, last January, with new personnel, we felt that the first thing we had to find out was the extent to which the memberships were behind the work. Consequently, three resolutions went from the committee to the boards and members:

(1) That we continue to operate the Reading Room jointly.
