It is with a heart overflowing with gratitude that I wish to thank God for guiding me to the truth as revealed by our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.

I am most grateful for every activity of the Christian Science movement, and at this time I particularly wish to express gratitude for the Reading Rooms. I live in a large hotel. At one time many of the guests were unfriendly to Christian Science, and I did my daily studying in the Reading Rooms. One day I spoke of this disturbing situation to an attendant in one of the Reading Rooms, and she lovingly pointed out to me that God knows nothing of divided thoughts, for in reality we are all one family, the children of the one Father-Mother God, and can express only holy thoughts, pure and sinless. She added that this truth is our shield and buckler. Pondering these truths, I gained further unfoldment from the comforting words of Hymn No. 99 in the Christian Science Hymnal:
