The testimonies of healing which I read in the Christian Science periodicals give me such help and inspiration that I wish to tell of the blessings Christian Science has brought into my life.

All during childhood my health was poor. The doctor said I could never be in perfect health. I spent much time in bed with severe colds and was too weak to play and enjoy games with other children. When I reached womanhood, I joined an orthodox church and was deeply religious, but still I was never in good health. When I began to teach school, I was advised by the doctor to leave the severe cold of the Middle West and go to the milder climate of the West Coast. I did so, but found it did not help me at all.

At this point, some Christian Science literature was given me by a friend who had found health and great satisfaction in the study of this Science. As I read the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I forgot all about my physical condition in the joy of finding the truth of God and man.
