Communications Welcome

As announced in the June 30, 1945, issue of the Christian Science Sentinel, the Reading Room Division of the Publishers' Agent's office acts as a clearinghouse for receiving and sharing information about Reading Room activities. Communications are therefore welcome from church boards, Reading Room committees, librarians, and Reading Room staff members regarding experiences that may be helpful in this work.

Experiences may relate to the designing and equipping of Reading Rooms, their relocation in more accessible ground-floor premises, improved display window and study-room lighting, installation of soundproof partitions between sales and study areas, remodeling of display windows, library and study-room activity as it has led to fruitage, work with new students of Christian Science attracted by advertising or window displays, and so on. Without disclosing the identity of the church concerned, these accounts are shared with the Field through the "Our Reading Rooms" column of the Sentinel and by means of letters written in reply to inquiries from the Field.

It will be appreciated if material submitted for this purpose is accompanied by a statement giving permission to have the information used in any way that will be helpful in Reading Room work.
