Science brings healing after renal colic attack

I first heard of Christian Science in 1929 through friends, when I was under treatment in a sanatorium. These friends interested me in this Science and brought me all the authorized literature which is translated into French. Some weeks afterward I left the sanatorium and rapidly resumed my work.

Through the teachings in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I learned to know God and man's relation to Him. I grasped the meaning of the Tenets of Christian Science and rejoiced that Love no longer seemed inaccessible to me, but on the contrary ever present.

Circumstances temporarily diverted me from Christian Science, but the teachings remained vivid in my mind. I did not forget that God "is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him" (Hebr. 11:6) and that Truth frees us from all evil. Thus I was quickly released unhurt, after being arrested by the Germans in 1943. This arrest to human sense could have had serious consequences.
