Freedom gained from diabetes
I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science. A few years ago I was healed of diabetes. I had seen my mother and her brother pass on from this disease. When a child I had been told about my grandmother passing on with the same thing.
When I realized what my difficulty was, I took my stand and asked for help in Christian Science. The practitioner and I were the only ones who knew about the condition. During the time it took to meet this problem, I advanced greatly in my knowledge of God and man. I do not remember just when the trouble completely vanished, but in about two years I realized that I was free.
I should like to tell of another healing that took place during this time. Our daughter was given six hours to live as the result of a ruptured appendix. The doctors had tried their best to save her life. They said that the poison had penetrated her entire system and that there was nothing more they could do. When my husband learned this, he was willing to turn to Christian Science for help.
