Lump on wrist dissolved by Truth

During an evening walk my parents noticed a great many people entering a building and, inquiring, found that a Christian Science Wednesday evening testimony meeting was being held there. My father wondered what kind of a midweek church meeting it could be that would attract so many people. Upon being told that all were welcome, he persuaded my mother to attend the meeting with him.

This was their introduction to Christian Science and the beginning of the realization of many blessings for our family. Soon my mother was healed of neuritis, which had troubled her for some time. My father became an earnest student of Science and had many proofs of its healing power, in the overcoming of physical, moral, and financial difficulties.

The first demonstration of healing in Christian Science came to me shortly after we had left our home in a small town and moved to a city many miles away. I had been grieving because I had left all my school friends and been compelled to enter a large city school where I knew no one. As a result I became quite ill with influenza, which was then prevalent. This was soon after my parents became interested in Christian Science, and having little understanding of how to work for me, they asked for the assistance of a practitioner. There was immediate improvement, and soon I was entirely free from the physical difficulty.
