Since God's creation is wholly good, inharmony of any nature is found to be unreal

"THERE IS NO DISEASE"

In the first chapter of Genesis it is recorded that God created man in His image, after His likeness, and that God looked on all His work "and, behold, it was very good." There is no record here of God's having created dis-ease, dis-comfort, or dis-order. They have no foundation in fact if God did not make them, for we read in John (1:3), "All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made."

"There is no disease," writes Mary Baker Eddy on page 421 of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." No ifs, ands, or buts; just "no disease." There being no disease, there is nothing to heal. Man was created in God's, Spirit's, image and likeness, and he was created perfect as the Father, who is perfection itself.

And man in God's image and likeness has never fallen, nor can he fall, from his high estate. He is at the point of perfection now, and no false belief of mortal mind brought on by fear, ignorance, or sin can make itself known to him in the form of disease of any name or nature.
