Kenosha Evening News
Kenosha, Wisconsin (First Church).
Dedicatory services were held in First Church of Christ, Scientist, Kenosha, 6032 Eighth Avenue, on Sunday, October 10, 1948. Two services were held, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. This was a joyous occasion for the Christian Scientists in Kenosha. The local church was filled to capacity with many visitors from near-by cities in Wisconsin and Illinois.
First Church of Christ, Scientist, Kenosha, was organized and incorporated under the laws of Wisconsin for religious purposes on April 8, 1904. It was an outgrow ill of the Christian Science Society which was organized in Kenosha early in the year 1901.
