MAN IS LOVED

[Of Special Interest to Young People]

Jane was entering her first year of high school in a new town. She was not beautiful, rich, or talented, but she had a great yearning to love and be loved.

Through Christian Science she was learning that to be loved, one must be lovable. So she realized that her need was to learn more of God, who is Love, the great and only cause, and of His child, who expresses such qualities as cheerfulness, thoughtfulness, love, intelligence, unselfishness, appreciation, and so on. These qualities are certainly loved, wanted, and indispensable. She saw that as she demonstrated her oneness with God as perfect effect of perfect cause by reflecting His qualities, she would be loved.
