THE LINE IS BUSY
[Of Special Interest to Children]
Ann is a little girl in the second grade of school. On Sundays she loves to go to the Christian Science Sunday School, where she learns that God is Love and takes care of His children.
She also likes to answer the telephone when Mother is busy, and sometimes she calls her Daddy at the place where he works to deliver a message from Mother. One day when she did so, she heard a noisy, buzzing sound. Her mother said: "That is the busy signal. That means that Daddy is talking to someone else and his line is busy, so we cannot talk to him till he is finished."
Ann also likes to hear stories and songs for children on the radio, and she knows where to turn the dial so that she can listen to the best programs.
