Christian Science was brought to my attention because of a daughter. When about a year old she fell on her head. This caused a swelling which developed into a carbuncle; and a few months later her hair started to fall out. Finally there was none left, and even her eyebrows and eyelashes were gone. From the time she was two years old until she was sixteen, she did not have a hair on her head. She then had Christian Science treatment, and now she has a lovely head of hair.

At the same time I was healed of a badly strained back. For six weeks I was lifted in and out of bed daily, but just through reading Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy I was instantaneously healed. Another daughter was healed of diphtheria in one night and day. A skin rash, which was very troublesome and unsightly, was healed through my knowing that God made all that was made and He made it good, for He is the only power. I have had healings of grief when loved ones passed on. Truly this truth heals the sick and binds up the brokenhearted.

I thank God that He led me to Christian Science, where I have learned about this truth that makes one free. The Bible is a great joy to me, now that Christian Science has taught me how to understand it. The Lord's Prayer with its spiritual interpretation which Mrs. Eddy has given us on pages 16 and 17 of Science and Health has been a great help and comfort and has brought much healing to me and to my family. I am grateful for the practitioners. who stand by ready to help when called upon, and for Christian Science friends, who are always an inspiration and help to me. I am humbly grateful to be a member of The Mother Church and of a branch church and to have had class instruction.
