DEFINITE WORK TO DO
In the Science of Life, which Christian Science reveals, God is one Mind—one infinite Supreme Being—and His creation consists of an infinitude of spiritual ideas which express Him. These ideas, God's thoughts, can never escape from the control of the Mind which conceives them. God's will is the law of their being, and His will is forever done. Man, God's highest idea, embodies and experiences the boundless good which the Father provides for His children.
To human sense, these truths seem too idealistic to be practical, but Christian Science teaches us how to work them out in scientific demonstrations of healing.
Mary Baker Eddy says in the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 202), "The scientific unity which exists between God and man must be wrought out in life-practice, and God's will must be universally done."
