THE YOUNG PRACTITIONER

[Of Special Interest to Children]

Ronnie had a little brown dog called Rags. He was a lively fellow, and Ronnie loved him very much.

One day Rags ran out into the street, and a car knocked him down. A man who was passing by picked up the little dog, who seemed to be lifeless. Ronnie instantly turned to God for help. He knew that God, Love, is always very near and ever caring for His creation. Ronnie begged to take Rags in his arms, and the man reluctantly gave the dog to him.

Ronnie thanked the man and went straight into his own house and right into his room and shut the door. He put Rags on his own bed, rested his head on the pillow, and covered him with a nice soft blanket. Placing a chair back to the bed, he sat down and took from the table a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy which was his very own although he could not yet read it. He opened the book and turned the pages.
