Testimony of Healing April 10, 1948 Issue

It is with a deep sense of gratitude...

It is with a deep sense of gratitude that this testimony is written. My husband, our two children, and I have had many healings by depending entirely upon God. One son was healed of a rupture over four years ago, and the healing has been permanent. This same child has had healings of ear infection and bad tonsils.

We have also had healings of colds, burns, appendicitis, and bronchitis. Christian Science has surely been a blessing to us. The last line of the spiritual sense of the Lord's Prayer as given by Mrs. Eddy in Science and Health (p. 17) has helped me so much in trying times, "For God is infinite, power, all Life, Truth, Love, over all, and All."

I am grateful that our sons can learn this wonderful truth while they are children and can have the privilege of attending a Christian Science Sunday School. What a joy it is to remember the good that comes to us by trusting in God. I am grateful to God and to Mrs. Eddy for her wonderful gift to humanity. I am also thankful for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, and for the practitioners who have helped my husband and me so many times.— (Mrs.) Clara F. Smith, La Junta, Colorado.
