THE RISEN CHRIST
"They
have taken away my Lord,
And I know not where they have laid him."
This too was my cry,
as I struggled long
with heavy heart
and head bowed low,
believing
that evil was real;
that a rock-ribbed tomb
obscured the Christ;
that time was needed
for Christ to be revealed.
Suddenly the angel song rang out,
"Fear not. He is risen!"
Uplifted thought brought sure release,
A dream dispelled, as I beheld
the risen Christ,
and I was healed.
