Church Dedications

Note: Christian Science churches are dedicated only when free from debt.

Ukiah, California (Society).

Christian Science Society, Ukiah, dedicated their church edifice during the regular morning service on Sunday, October 12, 1947.

The society had its beginning here in 1904, when a few students met in a private home to hold services, soon moving to a room upstairs in the Eversole Building. They organized and became a society, a recognized branch of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, on September 4, 1911. Sunday School and a free public Reading Room were established.
