When Christian Science was first presented to me, five years ago, I had recently lost a dear one and was alone with two small boys, filled with fear and much distraught. With acceptance of the healing truth came many blessings, especially after I had manifested the desire to leave the old landmarks and to gain a better understanding of the great verity that "God requireth that which is past" (Eccl. 3:15).

I found loving companionship, the security of home, and a family circle which consisted mainly of Christian Scientists. Here I should like to express my appreciation of the attitude maintained by those dear ones during certain dark periods when old fears beset me. With all this evidence of love my perception of God as Love increased, giving me a clearer understanding of home and of human relationships, and I was less subject to false, destructive criticism.

Through earnest study of the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly I have gained a truer sense of income and economy, of giving and receiving, and there is now more evidence of the government of good in all our domestic affairs.
