MAKING EVERY DAY A HOLY DAY

[Of Special Interest to Young People]

A High school sophomore was given a new motor scooter to commute from his home to the school. During the class sessions he parked it in the rear of the school building. One afternoon, when he came to get his vehicle, it was gone.

This young boy is a member of a Christian Science Sunday School, having attended from the time he enrolled in the youngest primary class. He knew, therefore, that even though resentment over his loss suggested itself, he must, instead, love the child of God, the true identity of the one who had unlawfully taken his machine. All the way home he repeated, "God is Love; therefore I can only reflect love."

When the young man arrived home, his parents and sisters comforted him. His mother reminded him that God's idea can never be dishonest; nor can one idea dispossess another. Theft and loss, she said, were just as erroneous as sickness and could be wiped out of human experience through an understanding of Christian Science.
