Words alone can never express...

Words alone can never express the gratitude which I owe to God, to Christian Science, and to the practitioner and the many friends who have helped me in times of need.

My son met with an automobile accident in May, 1942, receiving third degree burns on his limbs from the hips down. At the hospital the doctors grafted some skin, but poison set in, and he was getting continually worse. I did not know what to do, for he was seventy miles away. My thoughts went to a Christian Scientist whom I had met and who had told me something about Science. I thought of some of the truths she had voiced to me, and I decided to write to her for advice. She answered and also sent me a copy of the Sentinel. I read it through and then decided to try Christian Science. The boy was willing to have Science help, so I found a practitioner who gave him absent treatment. His legs were saved, he improved rapidly, and in a short time he was healed. In less than four months he came home, walking alone, even climbing the stairs, and in two months more he was driving a mail truck daily. He recently served for eight months in the Army Signal Corps.

I had been told by a specialist that I must undergo an operation for a small internal growth, but after my first talk with the practitioner I never had any more pain. This growth and many other bodily ailments have disappeared, and my whole life has been changed. I have had instantaneous healings of scalds, burns, headaches, cuts, results of falls, and other difficulties through the faithful work of a practitioner.
