For the beauty of God's creation and for His power and presence, proved through the understanding and application of Christian Science, I am deeply grateful. The truth heals as certainly now as it did when our Master cast out sin and sickness.

I have been healed of burns, a sprained toe, two severe attacks of influenza, paralysis of a portion of the side of my body, severe colds, sore throats, stomach disorders, painful headaches, rheumatism, and a nervous disorder which fringed on nervous prostration; also, through hours of consecrated prayer and study, of what appeared to be a blood clot on the brain.

God's loving protection has been with me constantly. I have never realized this more clearly than on occasions when I have been many miles from material help. During these times instances of guidance over dark, isolated roads and of protection on the water during sudden storms and from so-called poisonous snakes and wild animals have been experienced.
