I am thankful to God that His revelation of Christian Science has been meeting my daily needs and filling my experience with love, friends, health, and happiness for almost thirty years.

When I was a little girl only twelve years old, I played with two sisters who went to a Christian Science Sunday School and whose mother was a consecrated Christian Scientist. I spent many hours in their home and happily accepted Christian Science as the spiritual reality concerning God and my relationship to Him. I loved the simple truths these dear friends taught me.

A few years later, to my great joy, Christian Science came into our own home when both my mother and my grandmother turned to this beautiful, demonstrable religion. However, it was not until I was a young married woman that I began to study earnestly and consistently. For many years it had been thought by members of my family and relatives that I should never attempt to give birth to a child. With the help of a practitioner, my experience of childbirth was normal in everyway, and the baby was healthy and sound in spite of the medical predictions to the contrary.
