I am grateful for Christian Science...

I am grateful for Christian Science because it reveals the Science of Christianity. Before taking up its study it was not apparent to me that there is a Science of living which when understood enables one to overcome whatever would sadden or limit existence.

Christian Science has been my only physician since my introduction to it. The preventive power of right thinking, as I have been able to apply it, has kept me free from physical ills. My first healing was of the need for a daily laxative I used for years.

Injuries sustained in a plane crash were overcome through Science. A fall from a building, which apparently crushed one of my heels, caused but a few hours' inactivity and necessitated the use of a cane for but one day. I had the help of a Christian Science practitioner on both of these occasions. Abscessed teeth have several times been healed. In other instances Christian Science has removed the fear of dental work, and consequently its attendant discomfort. I was healed of the desire for alcoholic drink, and also of the habitual use of coffee.
