MY PRAYER

Grant, Father-Mother God, that I may smile
When to some fearful thought
That smile brings courage,
Hope.

Grant I may clasp a hand in friendship's grasp
When to some lonely thought
That grasp means heaven,
Home.

Grant I may walk so close to Truth and Love
That some lone traveler here
Shall find his way to
Thee.

Grant to these loved, when I shall have passed by,
Their only memory shall be
That God is
Love.
