I feel that the joy, peace, and confidence which have come into my life since my introduction to Christian Science have been so complete that I cannot go on and not express my heartfelt gratitude for them.

In 1887 my mother and my sister went through class with one of Mary Baker Eddy's students, but I was young and healthy and paid very little heed to this religion. Years later, however, I had great need for this truth, when a doctor gave my baby up to die of pneumonia. I called a Christian Science practitioner, whose clear understanding of God's ever-presence brought about an instantaneous healing.

From that time on we have relied entirely upon this Science. Such ailments as influenza, colds, pneumonia, scarlet fever (which lasted only a few hours), poisoning from ivy, toothache, a complicated condition when my last baby was born, lack, sorrow, and many other ills have yielded to Truth. Above and beyond these healings is the spiritual communion with God, the consciousness of His presence and power to heal and bless which has come to me. It has been my privilege to be a member of a branch church, and to share in its activities. I have also had the joy of class instruction.—(Mrs.) Bertha D. Geer, Hempstead, New York.
