Unfoldment
This
thought came to me in the quiet and dew of the morning:
Here is a new day the Lord God has given to us all;
What shall I do with it?
In sharing, living, and loving.
Only good can unfold. May this day envision it well!
That which is shared must be given without thought of receiving:
Every hour's living will then become radiant, bright.
I shall speak healing to those who are sorrowing, grieving;
They may turn on this day to a new understanding of Life.
For day is the sabbath of God to each one of His children.
And from every sabbath the peace of the world is proceeding.
That peace it so sorely seems needing.
This day shall unfold the beauty and purpose of Spirit,
The freedom and wholeness of man in God's image and likeness.
