Christian Science shows the way...

Christian Science shows the way to a true sense of success. Through Science I have been shown how to make a harmonious home, with a true spirit of companionship, and healings of discords of almost every description have been "brought about, generally quickly and simply. Children's difficulties have often been overcome by turning to some statement of truth from the Bible, from the textbook or other writings by our Leader, and relying completely upon it. Many times our hymns have been a tower of strength, especially those written by Mrs. Eddy. In our home we are knowing and proving that pain and suffering are dreams of the past.

Christian Science healed me of chronic dyspepsia after I was discharged from a general infirmary as incurable. Through my daily study of the Lesson-Sermon, general study of the Bible and the textbook, and learning to appreciate our periodicals, the healing came. These statements from the Bible (Gen. 1:27,31) were a great help: "So God created man in his own image .... And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good." Science has indeed opened "the windows of heaven" to us.
