Those who know little of the...
Those who know little of the healing power of Christian Science sometimes think it incredible that Science should perform such a healing as the setting of broken bones. I should like to express my gratitude for a very quick healing of a broken rib, through relying entirely on Science.
When walking near the house one day, I slipped on some wet leaves, falling heavily and striking my side on an iron bar. I managed to get back to the house, but the pain was so intense that I asked for help from a practitioner. The lower rib was broken, and the two ends were protruding into the flesh.
In one of her poems Mrs. Eddy writes (Poems, p.12):
