Letters to the Press from Christian Science Committees on Publication
Evening Herald
Luther K. Bell, Committee on Publication for Connecticut Evening Herald, Manchester
My attention has been called to an item which appeared in the "Sense and Nonsense" department of your paper.
The story is that a visitor to one of the Christian Science Wednesday evening meetings heard so many people express gratitude for Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, for healings which had come to them, that she was impelled to get up and tell of the benefits she had received from taking another woman's patent medicine.
