Church Dedications

Note: Christian Science churches are dedicated only when free from debt.

El Paso, Texas (First Church).

At two identical services, one held in the morning and the other in the afternoon, First Church of Christ, Scientist, El Paso, located at Elm and San Diego Streets, dedicated its edifice on Sunday, April 28, 1946. At each service the First Reader read a short historical record of the progress of the church.

First Church of Christ, Scientist, El Paso, was organized in February, 1903. The church held services at various locations, and in 1910 purchased lots at Stanton and Montana Streets and proceeded to erect a church building, which was ready for occupancy in June, 1910.
