In the Christian Science textbook,...
In the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Mary Baker Eddy states on page 162, "I have restored what is called the lost substance of lungs, and healthy organizations have been established where disease was organic." This has been repeated in my experience.
When I was a boy about ten years of age, Christian Science was presented to me when my father was healed in three days of what is known as mortification of a limb. Since that time Science has been my only physician.
In the year 1930, I had a nervous breakdown and suffered from what the doctors termed a completely collapsed lung. Because I was working for a large corporation, a doctor was called in compliance with the insurance rules. He and several others pronounced my case hopeless, and this report was of course turned in to my company.
