Christian Science has brought...
Christian Science has brought much good to me and has been such a regenerating influence in my life that I owe my happiness and health to it.
When I was quite young, an unhappy temperament and consequent ill-health resulted in a ban by the doctor on strenuous games and certain studies, and I had to change schools. At this point my mother became interested in Christian Science.
I shall never forget the happiness which the reading of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy brought to me. Not very long afterwards, our Leader raised the age limit for Sunday School attendance from twelve to twenty, and this ruling blessed me. In accordance with her instructions in the Manual of The Mother Church (Art. XX, Sect. 2), I was taught the Scriptures, which, in the light of Christian Science, became vivid and practical. Many a Sunday brought the healing of some problem quite unknown to the teacher.
