I am humbly grateful for the privilege of submitting the following testimony of gratitude to God for the many blessings that have come into my human experience through the study and application of Christian Science.

I was first introduced to Science by a dear friend who had been healed of a malignant growth of many years' standing. I was in desperate need of help, for I was suffering from a nervous collapse caused by an automobile accident. Having doctored for many months without relief, I came to the crossroads of my life. One morning when everything seemed darkest, the physician who attended me advised that he could do nothing more to help me, and suggested that I try Christian Science. He said he knew that healings had been accomplished through this Science where medical science had failed. This physician was a fine Christian character. I shall never cease to be grateful for that advice, for my healing came during my first visit to a practitioner.

After this beautiful experience I made up my mind to find out what Science was. I took up at once the study of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and since then have proved God's allness many times. Life began for me at the time of my healing. I have proved the words of our dear Master (Matt. 7:8), "For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened." I have also demonstrated that supply is from divine Love, and that unlimited, infinite goodness is here now. Our beloved Leader points the way for us to prove this truth in "Miscellaneous Writings" (p.158): "All God's servants are minute men and women. As of old, I stand with sandals on and staff in hand, waiting for the watchword and the revelation of what, how, whither. Let us be faithful and obedient, and God will do the rest."
