Thoughtful
people are today expending much time and effort to care for the hungry in war-torn nations and are using every human means and method to alleviate the urgent need.
One
who thoughtfully ponders the first chapter, entitled "Prayer," in the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, will find comforting assurance and spiritual enlightenment.
It
is impossible to measure the good that will be unfolded to mankind when the realization of the importance of every word which Jesus spoke, dawns upon human consciousness.
Through
the understanding of Christian Science one gains the power to eliminate from consciousness the traits of mortal mind—fear, doubt, indecision, worry—false beliefs all, which would rob one of his rightful nature as the son of God.
Those with uncompleted sets of the Sunday School Edition of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy and of the matching Cloth Pocket Edition of her other writings may desire especially to note that these editions are to be discontinued when present stocks are exhausted.
I am humbly grateful for the privilege of submitting the following testimony of gratitude to God for the many blessings that have come into my human experience through the study and application of Christian Science.
I am grateful to our Leader for revealing to us the light of spiritual understanding, which makes it possible for us to work out life's problems and to see man as God's child.
