Eternity

We do not need to die to live,
Eternity is now.
For what has wisdom more to give,
Or beauty to endow,

Than what already God has given
Of His effulgent grace,
To teach us here and now is heaven—
In consciousness, not space.

We do not need to die to live.
Each shining hour we find
Our immortality in Love;
Our home, eternal Mind.
