I am grateful for the privilege I had of attending a Christian Science Sunday School for about ten years. I learned there that "with God all things are possible" (Matt. 19:26), and in the years which have followed, this conviction has been strengthened by many proofs of God's care.

One healing I wish to mention occurred about four years ago. While traveling south with my mother and sister, I was thrown from our automobile and landed on my back in the road. Immediately I declared over and over, "God is here." and with this thought came the beautiful realization that this was only another opportunity to prove the teachings of Christian Science. I was carried into another automobile and was taken to a hotel in a town about thirty miles away, where we immediately called a Christian Science practitioner. Although I was unable to move any part of my body except my arms. I did not have any fear or self-pity during the whole experience, nor did I have any desire to undergo a medical examination.

My mother and sister were uninjured, and during the first hours we sang hymns together, especially Hymn No. 10 from the Christian Science Hymnal. I read constantly, and, although it was about two weeks before I could lift my legs the hours were most peaceful and blessed. The second day some kind of adjustment took place, and it seemed as though my legs were pulled from my body. After that I was able to move one leg.
